Sarah Danford, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in mother and baby care and lactation support. She sees patients at the Providence Medical Group-Mother and Baby Clinic at Providence Portland, St. Vincent and Willamette Falls Medical Centers. “I think of myself as a consultant, listening actively, providing information, and strategizing with families to find solutions that work for them in their unique circumstances, ” she says. “They are in charge. I’m here to walk alongside them as they begin the journey into parenthood, with all its joys and challenges.” Sarah holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and a degree in clinical nutrition from the University of California, Davis.
